This trip starts off on the east side of the Virgin River at Mesquite, Nevada and heads east through the, now famous, Bundy Cattle ranch range. On this trip you'll see the Budweiser Fence, a little known arch, several interesting mines, one flooded one (Great Eastern Mine), a lot of interesting geology, some challenging trails (the Seeps), Keyhole Rock, and then the Old boiler from an old Choo-Choo. Great scenery!
For a location see the map below and don't miss the PDF log of the entire trip. It's worth seeing. You'll want to go!
After seeing (Bud) Leland Sanders write-up on this trip in the desert, we really wished we'd have been able to go with them. Them, being the St. George Jeepers.
