This trip in the desert was originally published by "Bud" Sanders for the St. George Jeepers and is published here with Bud Sanders permission. The St. George Jeepers is a group of off-road enthusiasts that have their base of operations in St. George, Utah.
A 13 mile off road loop in the desert which includes small sections of the northern part of the Valley of Fire State Park. A lot of nice red rock scenery and panels of petroglyphs await you. See the GPX track below for more info and a location.  You could also visit Valley of Fire which is in the same area.

Red Rock Scenery

This is a great way to see the northern part of the Valley of Fire State Park. This is a good way to spend part of a day in red rock country and visit some nice petroglyph panels.
