This trip in the desert was originally published by "Bud" Sanders for the St. George Jeepers and is published here with Bud Sanders permission. The St. George Jeepers is a group of off-road enthusiasts that have their base of operations in St. George, Utah.
This trip originates just inside the Arizona border 6 1/2 miles south of Kanab, Utah in the town of Fredonia, Arizona.
Anybody that spends any time in the desert has certainly visited the Grand Canyon, right? Here's another part of this great geologic feature that you may not know exists. The North Rim, Point Sublime, is just that kind of place. Great views, and one of the few places where you can see the Colorado River in the canyon.

One of the great viewpoints. The only place where the Colorado River can be seen. Seen here in the middle / lower half of the photo.
