Hiking Utah's Back Country
Take a Hike!
Several friends of ours just took a hike into one of the more popular scenic areas in the desert in Southwest Utah. This is one of the best times of the year to take a hike. "Utah Wandering" Scott, his wife Teresa, along with their guide Teresa D. and friend Sandy went to Yant Flat. It's really not so flat and has some of the best, strange, rock formations in this part of the country. Join Utah Wandering as he shows us this area.

Over the years we've heard about this area, but have not been able to take this trip. Many people hike this area. And after watching Utah Wandering's video you'll see why.

Located between St. George, Utah and Leeds (the silver mining town) and just to the west of I-15 is Yant Flat.
You can drive up to the western edge of Yant Flat then it's a hike into this region. If you watched the video then you'll know why it's worth the effort! Thanks to Utah Wandering for sharing this video. NOW, take a hike!
