   Arizona's first European visitor was Marcos de Niza a Spanish Franciscan Friar in 1539 .-- followed later by Coronado. Arizona's old West history includes some famous figures like Geronimo and Cochise. Arizona now has more than 14 tribes in the state - the largest of all the Western States. Best places to visit are as follows:  Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, London Bridge in Lake Havasu City  Arizona is a great place to visit in the desert.
