Hot Air Balloon

Slideshow and Videos below.

This is the 20th annual Balloon Festival to be held here in Yuma, Arizona. If  you've never seen a hot air balloon festival before, then this is something you don't want to miss. We got there early at 6:00 AM and by 8:15 all the hot air balloons had taken flight. We even got a chance to see one land right next to a housing development. These guys and gals are good!

Here's the slideshow, videos below.

The show unfolded in this sequence.

This first video is a combination of 3 videos taken at the festival. This should give you an idea of how things unfold and what the festival looks like. You should go in person, it's a very friendly and impressive sight.
We included this video so you could see how fast these balloons rise after being partially inflated by a fan. The hot air from the burner really makes them inflate fast..

Another look at a local happening in the desert.
Don't miss this next year!
