This is a short, but scenic route along the base of the Pine Valley Mountains from Diamond Valley to Leeds, Utah. The included track starts out in St. George, Utah. This trail can be run in either direction, but, coming down in elevation from Diamond Valley will give you the most scenic views. And there is a lot. Narrow trails with hairpin turns and scenic canyons all along the way. Diamond Valley also has a couple of extinct volcanoes.    By off road standards, this is a fairly short trip, but a very scenic one. There are a couple places on the way down from the highest point in the trail that will demand your complete attention and driving skills. In good weather this trip is doable in a 2 wheel drive vehicle. Have fun and enjoy the great views.

St. George Jeepers Trip

Just after we took a hurried trip on the same off road trails, St. George Jeepers took this trip and knew of a lot more sites that should be seen on the way down the mountain. A lot of nice photos and information. We have to thank Bud Sanders for allowing us to share this.

Please be patient -- this PDF file will take a minute to download and open,
it is a large file, but well worth the wait.
