Plants and Trees

Trees in the desert includes the trees your likely to find in the desert plus the Creosote bush and the Ocotillo and plants in the Yucca family.
There are a lot of Cacti in the desert. A rather large list is included with photos of each. Some are represented in their flowering stage.

When the flowers are blooming in the desert it's quite a spectacle to behold. Now most people capture whole fields of wildflowers which is really nice and we've done that also. Here we've tried to zoom in on some of the different varieties for a closer look, to single them out and to see how beautiful each species is.

Do you know what your home state bird is? How about the flower of your state? Trees and gemstones are included here also.
