A favorite destination for off-roaders (OHV enthusiasts). Sand Mountain provides 15,000 acres of sculptured dunes, trails, and rock crawling possibilities. The Red Sand is an incredible backdrop for the Sand Hollow Reservoir. Boating, bass fishing and camping are available. Days of adventure await you. This was a relatively short trip for us - 24.9 miles that took us 6 hours, 24 minutes to complete. Great place for 4 wheelers.

Once again Linda nor I got any video or photos of the hardest part of the trip. Why? We honestly didn't think we'd make it through a few of the sections Dan took us through. We did make it. It's a wonder we didn't have a heart attack though. Once you start into some of these spots, you're committed, and there is no backing up or turning around. So be careful and have fun.
