Plug-in, review by in the desert
Any imaging program is capable of turning a color photograph into a black & white photo. Some even offer other effects like "sepia" and so on. Here's a B & W plug-in that does it all. Not only can you change it to B & W and sepia and a lot of other tones but you can selectively go back and bring some of the coloration back into the photograph. The edge aware brush saves time tracing objects. See below.
One last example - Have you ever wanted to make an old map or newspaper article look really old? Or maybe a photo? It's so simple to do this with the B & W Effects plug-in. Here's a newspaper article that we've changed. We also added a little vignette to this example. You can see the lighter area in the middle.
If you try this program "Trial Version" don't hesitate to adjust the sliders on the right. This is fast becoming one of our favorite plug-ins!.
Great Plug-in, give it a try HERE
Below is a photo in full color of peppers in Hatch, New Mexico. Now if you wanted to change the tone of this image it'd be simple to do. The other images in this case were done using two of the many presets in the plug-in. Many more are available and you can fine tune them using the sliders on the right side of the program's interface..
